jennifer scott

jennifer scott began as a hobby for couple jennifer kakon and scott richler in 1999. the montreal based couple started making bracelets in their spare time as a diversion from their hectic careers. at the time, jennifer was working in advertising while scott held a job as an architect. very quickly, the business took off and both left their day jobs to create and run jennifer scott. and i'm sure a lot of people are glad they did by looking at these chairs especially.

vietri (2)

more from vietri with their sorbetto line of bakeware. combining the fresh colors of sherbert with glazed terra cotta edges, this bakeware make wonderful accent pieces. available here.

vintage school lockers

i'm just thinking more organization and trying to get some ideas to make life a little easier around here and found these old vintage school lockers from pottery barn kids. i really like their look and the idea of each person having a space.

vietri

one of my favorite handcrafted dinnerware makers is vietri out of italy. they now have some beautiful new dinnerware called contrada, inspired by the traditions of sienna's II palio horse races. i am particularly fond of the swirling patterns named contrada plume, which are signed by rita rossi, original creator of the plume design more than 20 years ago. the sophisticated mix of contrada dashes and contrada plume swirls would compliment the traditional or modern table. contact vietri here.

etsy picks

a few fun picks from the housewares category at etsy:

i just couldn't resist this laundry light by cherrypievintage for some reason, in a dorm room or something it could really work.

there's always a place for a vintage hawaiian print pillow. by nicework.

since i'm not brave enough to get my own, this tattoo apron could be fun. by keykalou.

and i'm still loving silouettes, and this pillow is rather sweet. by daintyanddirty.

linens from caban

these drawer sachets and liners from canadian retailer, caban are made from european linen and silks. scented drawer liners, sachets, pillow inserts and eye pillows are filled with rose or lavender.

and some table linens and coasters come in that black and white i'm liking so much as well as others. all from caban.
