Modern Arks: Vintage Wood Crate Turns Side Table

Modern Arks re-purposes items to create one-of-a-kind pieces. These advertising crates turn side tables made my heart jump when I first saw them pop onto my radar last week; so much so I just had to invite them to our market this month! New Market Launches Today - A Pre-Holiday Market!

A little sneak peek into the latest vendors in the new market launching today at Poppytalk Handmade. It's our "4th Annual Pre-Holiday Market - and it's starting to look alot like the upcoming season! Although it may be a bit early to launch the heavy duty holiday fair, it's definitely time to start thinking about it; maybe picking out holiday cards and the odd gift and decoration. Peg Blackboard

A cute DIY idea from the inspiring Margie Oomen of Resurrection Fern. Margie made this peg board recently, painting it with black board paint to hang in her studio. She's using it as a changing display board which she currently has holding a portion of her collection of wooden spoons and vintage wooden tools. An amazing combo don't you think?

Inspiration: Office Storage

An awesome way to store things. Photographer, Candice Stringham came up with this clever set up for her office earlier this year; the letter baskets are from peddlersdesign.com (and I've seen them at homesense.ca in Canada) and the white bins from IKEA.
