finally one of most favorite letterpress companies, eggpress, has an online shop where you can see a collection of many of their beautiful cards and now screenprinted t's and pouches! this woodgrain zipper pouch (duplicated from one of their cards) is definitely going to sell out fast; i just love this design. $22 (u.s.).
one of my favorites in their card section is their everyday collection which includes 3 letterpress cards and 2 offset-printed cards for $20 (u.s.). such a great idea to sell in sets online (to make it all worth it). the picture just doesn't do these cards justice, but trust me, they are beautiful in person.
love this idea for wall art as seen on san francisco apartment therapy by anh-minh.
i'm trying to grasp even a little bit of all the amazing design happenings in london this week at the 100% design event (sep 21 - 24/06).
this photo of an installation of found objects by sonja ahlers really says to me what is in the consciousness of a lot of us right now. i keep seeing lace, doilies, natural woods, vintage ephemera, black and whites.
just received an email from dVider, a newcomer on the design scene, and i'm digging their versatile collection of removable wall decals (such a great technology these decals have become!)
i'm loving this mini-line of home products from sweet thunder just emailed in to me. hand printed, tumbled, italian botticino marble tiles. as stated on their blog, the designs are based on a collage of natural elements: gem formations, botanics, & birds. available with or without corked backs (for coasters) on their site. also check out their earing of the month club. (you started something, regional assembly of text - lots of month clubs out there now)!
these boris bally house numbers caught my eye this morning when i saw them on eco-artware out of washington, d.c.
loved the do-it-yourself wallpaper ideas in the first issue of canada's new shopping magazine for the home, chocolat. great ideas to create effects, add color and even frame in a picture. not a bad magazine, looking forward to seeing if they can keep me reading next month. lots of canadian stores and sources.
rollout, a vancouver company, was born out of the need for graphic expression in the interior design industry. as stated on their site, "they represent a culture of creativity and warmth that denies conformity. relying on community-based recruitment, rollout constantly hunts for exciting ideas from any inspiration. illustration, photography, graphic design, and industrial design provide media; the walls provide the medium".

if you are a robot fan like i am you are going to flip when you see this little robot pencil sharpener in action.
