I'm loving the video series Grace from Design Sponge has posted up on her blog today on BKLYN Designs! She's done an awesome job on them, featuring and interviewing some amazing artists, especially the work of Palo Samko! Grace says this is one of the best BKLYN Design shows to date, so if you have time, it's a must watch. She also has some slides that accompany the video at her blog And not only does she have great taste in design, we're loving the music (Clear Tigers) that's accompanying it too! I loved this when I saw it up on Design Sponge today. A new video series D's and the New York Public Library have launched called Design by the Book. This online only miniseries invites five New York City-based artists to sift through the library's collections searching for inspiration and follows them through a creative process to complete a final project. It should be fun to follow. The artists/designers featured are Rebecca Kutys of Moontree Press, John Pomp of John Pomp Glass, Julia Rothman, Mike Perry and Lorena Barrezueta. The next one up is TBA.
