Giveaway! Handwritten Valentine from Hello Handmade

In January we posted about Hello Handmade's beautiful hand written customized valentines. Taking their cue from Jane Austen, then adding their own modern twist, the valentine's are handwritten, handpainted and elaborately folded in the regency style of Austen's time, then sealed with black and white striped washi tape and a wax seal.

And today we along with artists Shanna Murray + Betsy Dunlap are offering one custom regency valentine to giveaway!

Please leave a comment (at this post) with a favorite quote, from a poem or lyric, that speaks to you most regarding matters of the heart. Shanna + Betsy can't wait to read your comments and choose their favorite! Be sure to leave your email address!

As their valentine's are only available for purchase until Friday, the 5th of February in order to ensure they arrive to you in time to give to your Valentine, this giveaway will end Tuesday, February 2nd at 5pm Pacific with the winner being announced on Wednesday the 3rd. Good luck!

Hello Handmade Giveaway!

Today I'm honoured to host a giveaway for one of my favourite handmade artist duo's, Hello Handmade! Artists, Shanna Murray + Betsy Dunlap are offering up one of their beautiful O Tannenbaum prints and one of their 2010 Laureled Tea Towels to a lucky winner this week. The giveaway starts immediately and will end at 10pm (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, December 8th/09. Since Betsy and Shanna are both terribly sentimental they suggested we ask everyone to leave a comment that includes a favorite holiday tradion to enter. They'd love to read through them and choose a winner.

Also they are having a little sale this week in their shop and have marked their calendars down to $20 each to celebrate the giveaway. They've also relaunched their lovely downloadable ornaments and bunting, (as they were old favorites) and they thought those that didn't have a chance to get them last year might love to download and work on them this year! Visit their etsy shop here

So please leave a comment here at this post "what your favorite holiday tradition is" and a winner will be announced on Wednesday morning. Good Luck!

Safari users: If you are having trouble finding the comments button, please click back to the main blog url at poppytalk.blogspot.com and find this post and you should see the comments box then. If you're still having troubles, pls email us at poppytalkblog[at]yahoo[dot]ca and we will enter your name and comment for you. Thank you!

A Domino of a Giveaway!

We were very sad (like many we’re sure) when the news of Domino Magazine closed. However their innovative and gorgeous ideas live on in their book, Domino, The Book of Decorating. The folks from Simon & Schuster have kindly sent us two copies of their book to give away to our readers.

Having a chance to flip through this book over this past weekend, not only are the images amazing (in the Domino way), but there are some creative decorating tips and innovative how-to's too! I love this book, and truly didn't know how good it was! (I wish I could keep a copy)!

Please leave a comment here (at this post only) with your email address and location. We will run this giveaway from now through to the end of Wednesday, April 29th/09 at 11:59pm. We will post the winners (there will be two) here Thursday, April 30th/09. Good luck and a HUGE thank you to Nina at Simon & Schuster !

One entry per person please.

UPDATE NOTE: We have so many comments, that if you are using Safari, you are going to have trouble reaching the bottom of the comments page to comment, so if you could, please use Firefox to comment. If you don't have Firefox, please email us at poppytalkblog[at]yahoo[dot]ca and I will enter your name in. Use the words 'DOMINO GIVEAWAY' in the subject line. Sorry for the inconvenience. Blogger and safari aren't mixing well with our creative fandangled coding! Thanks!
