Color Revival

I think we're on a color roll here for 2010 starting with Andrea's post yesterday on Color Therapy and now these gorgeous rugs from ABC Carpet & Home. ABC is transforming imperfect vintage rugs into an assortment of hybrid carpets called Color Reform. The rugs which are each one of a kind and individually handcrafted by Turkish artisans was neutralized to remove their original pigment and then over-dyed to create their remarkable state. New Amy Butler for Chandra

Amy Butler has just released her new line of handcrafted rugs for Chandra, 19 designs in total, with a few you may recognize from her fabrics and bedding. Her rugs are 100% made from New Zealand wool and are semi-sustainable using no harsh chemical washes, the industry's safest chrome dyes and natural latex adhesive. Amy has put together a slide show on her site which showcases each design. So beautiful!

Update: The first shipment of rugs is expected this week to the manufacturer, they are waiting on the "where to buy" info and will have it up on the site as soon as possible. Amy will be carrying the rugs in her web store probably around the first week of September.
