Spring Colour Week! Blue Friday

It's Blue Friday, our last day here at our Spring Colour Week. It's been such an amazing week really, with 1,700 images uploaded and counting (as we have just started today)! Spring Colour Week! Monday (Pink)

As promised this week we're launching Spring Colour Week where everyone who wishes to join uploads pink; to their blog or flickr and then adds them to our Spring Colour Week flickr group for all to enjoy. Last week we announced specific colours for each day:

Mon::Pink (All pinks); Tue::Green (Chartreuse); Wed::Yellow; Thu ::Mauve/Purple; Fri::Blue (Robins Egg Blue +) Psssst! I changed my mind on restriciting the pinks to baby pinks - lets upload all pinks, was I crazy?

So today we bring you all the lovely pinks. I've selected a few pinks from the group that have been uploaded already; and will favourite a few more as they are uploaded this afternoon to add to this post! Last fall it was amazing all the beautiful colors and I look forward to seeing all your beautiful ones for spring!



The plan is to upload the new colour for the day after 6 o'clock pm (pacific). So for example, tomorrow is "green", so everyone can start uploading green images after 6 (pacific) and so on. I hope you'll join us! The following images above are:

This past fall we had so much fun hosting our first colour week we thought we would do it again come spring. And since spring seems to be visiting the Pacific Northwest a little early, we thought we better get on with it before all the blossoms are gone, so we're pleased to announce we will be hosting a "Spring Colour Week" (March 8 - 12) starting next monday on the blog if anyone wishes to join us! Blog or flickr these colours specifically each day and we will post some here!

Mar 8 - Monday - Pink (Light Pink - baby pink)
Mar 9 - Tuesday - Green (Chartreuse)
Mar 10 - Wednesday - Yellow
Mar 11 - Thursday - Mauve/Purple
Mar 12 - Friday - Blue (Robins Egg Blue)

And then add them to our Spring Colour Week Flickr Pool so we can see your images! It'll be fun!
