amyb13 - letterpress style shots

two adorable style shots sent in by amy13. i like how she pulled in the colors she used on the cards from her props (red and white baby blocks) and (blue wall and wine colored bowl). she makes these beautiful letterpressed cards on soft white cardstock that's made in italy and has a lovely texture. each card comes with a coordinating pool color envelope.

style shot submissions please!

i love these style shots from some of the participants of the october poppytalk handmade market. so much so i had to do a little blurb on them. and thinking of that, i thought it might be a cool way to find out about some cool new design/products out there by putting out a call for "style shot submissions"! so if you'd like to participate, just shoot an email to poppytalkblog@yahoo.com with some pics of your best style shots of your products (along with links of course)! make sure to make the subject "style shots" when submitting. i will post my favorites as they come in! in the meantime check out these: (the first one's (above) from frazier and wing her beautiful mobiles look stunning in these settings (both interesting and colorful!). these mobiles by the way are made out of recycled magazines! truly amazing pieces!

below, from south africa's skinny laminx's, heather moore put together an amazing set featuring her beautiful hand screen printed linens (i love the added south african touch with the little animals).

om home shows off their eastern influenced designs with interesting furniture and flooring.

i look forward to seeing all the submissions coming in! feel free to send as soon as possible or at your leisure. i hope to make this feature a weekly post and can hardly wait to start!
