All things little week!

il_430xN.67534244

Today we're kicking off a week of all things little! Yes folks, It’s Baby & Kids Week at Poppytalk! So many friends and fellow bloggers are having babies, and because we’re holding a Mother’s Day and Kids Market this month we thought it would be fun, to switch things around a bit and offer up design focused around kids and family.

From kids room art to handmade organic clothing, we hope you’ll join us this week while we venture out to playland! Above Custom Birth Date print by Almost Sunday.

Nylon goes Paperless & Ace opens in NY & Palm Springs

A room in New York

We got a nice email from the people at Nylon magazine letting us know they now have a paperless version of their magazine, which we instantly perused and immediately loved with all the sound effects (like pages turning, etc.) Thanks Nylon! Inside we read that Ace Hotels is openng locations in New York and Palm Springs, and being fans, we had to post a couple of their room photos.

To view Nylon's paperless publication, click here. To visit Ace's page, click here.

We will be posting a little late today, and hope you'll come back to check things out!

Vision of the Week

.

I have been very slack lately with the Vision of the Week posts. But I am hoping to make it up to you all now with this beautiful photo from White Pearl Photography. Taken from the upper balcony of the Sofitel Hotel in Broadbeach, it's said to be one of the favourites of their clients. To view more work from White Pearl Photography please visit their website.

Call for Submissions: Paper Pops Market!

Mother's Day card from La Familia Green

We just took a look and found the deadline for the Poppytalk Handmade "Paper Pops" Market - a papergoods and affordable art themed market is this Saturday, April 25th! This market is lined up at the same time as the National Stationery Show in New York. We are looking for mainly papergoods (from file folders to journals) and affordable art (work under $100).

If you are planning on participating at the NSS - we encourage you to read It's Showtime - a post by Susy Jack on the steps to preparing for the show. She also mentioned Poppytalk Handmade in this post and it's benefits to participating in it at the same time as the show.

Please submit your submissions to poppytalkblog[at]yahoo[dot]ca with the words "PAPER POPS" in the subject line.
