dwell lounge chair

blu dot unveiled the dwell lounge chair at the international contemporary furniture fair today in new york.

the chair, designed by ralph rapson was the result from a design competition held by dwell and blu dot. rapson is a well-known mid-century designer from minneapolis who died on march 29th, just weeks befor the chair was completed. (via shine).

iannone at icff this weekend!

iannone will once again be exhibiting at the international contemporary furniture fair this weekend in ny (may 19-20) with their latest new eco-friendly designs, including sideboards, pieces for the home office, shelving and coffee tables. i'm totally digging these cork filing cabinets (above). you can find them at booth 2518 at the icff at the jacob j. javitz convention center in new york.
