having moved out of the main street area last year, i just missed the fabulous find moving in so on my drive back from visiting cul de sac design i was heading up main, when some blue eames fibreglass chairs beckoned me to stop. with a few nice surprises along the way, "the fabulous find" features mid-century furniture and home accessories. much to my dismay 4 blue eames chairs with sold tags on them had just been bought up by a couple from holland and although there were some nice orange ones in the window at $150 each, i really had my heart set on the blue. but there's lots to choose from in this lovely corner store, heaps of vintage typewriters, pendant lamps and tabletops, danish teak couches and chairs and i even spotted a tulip table with chairs hiding in the back. they don't have a website but can be contacted through their email at tgfinefurniture@hotmail.com.
