Hula Seventy: Little Winter

Contributor post by Andrea of Hula Seventy

Like so many Portlanders, I spent a bit of time over the weekend at Little Winter-- a handmade market organized by Abby Powell Thompson and Chelsea Fuss (and sponsored by Poppytalk) featuring 20 plus artists from Portland and beyond. Images and posts featuring the market are popping up all over the internet and it's not hard to see why-- Little Winter was as lovely as you might think. Somehow, between all the shopping and catching up with friends, I managed to take a few photographs. A tiny sampling of what caught my eye:

Abby's sweet bookmark display.

Cori's awesome fabric-covered bicycle in the front window. Remember the first bicycle she covered this past summer? Yup. Awesome.

The colors in Susan's earrings. I'm such a big fan.

Paul and Jordan Ferney's wall display. Love.

These free polaroid portraits with each purchase. Seriously? Jordan, you're my kind of girl.

This new collaboration between Shanna Murray and Pigeon Toe ceramics. So good.

These sweet brooches by Julianna Swaney

Honestly, the window displays might have been my favorite part. Couldn't stop pointing my camera at all the lovely window displays.

Congrats, Abby and Chelsea! You totally knocked it out of the park, girls!
