alain bonder
i love the contrast of power and solitude portrayed in this piece titled, "ajustement instinctif" (2006) by montreal-based artist, alain bonder. he paints images or segments of bulls, horses, and humans combined with decorative flourishes in his latest works. minimalist in composition the artist uses different media, mixing charcoal with acrylics or oil. the main themes of his work is a comment on power struggles, contrasts, and the loss of human touch. he is represented in canada by galerie orange in montreal.
