From this (http://www.cameraquest.com/adapt_olyE1.htm) I take it that the answer to your questions is:
It doesn't detract from the image quality.
It doesn't change the aperture (speed) of the lens.
However, you only get manual focusing, manual exposoure and manual aperture settings. So you don't get any of the fancy features that the camera offers.
Considering that the above site is asking a rather large amount of money for the adapter itself, I'd say that it's probably only worth it if you find some good old manual Nikon lenses [it's no point in getting fancy AF, VR lenses, as either of those features will not work anyways].

You can get quite far using just Blend, but you probably want to use Visual Studio for the coding and debugging features that Blend doesn't have.

Everybody please post the names of attorneys who are easy / not easy, safe / not safe to deal with. People can post the names of the attorneys and a brief description (without specifics) about the problems / happy endings, they encountered. This could become an excellent review post for immigration lawyers. we could also maybe put 3 or 4 criteria to score them from 1 to 4. for eg:-
availability to answer questions
timely filing
acurate filing (with all documents)
current with legal provisions and latest changes
overall easiness to work with
cost
etc etc
Experts pls join in to fix the scoring pattern. We need to know the crooks and the good samaritarians out there.

Can anybody please let me know what are the documents needed to file for 485. If I do not have any immunization record, how can I show that immunization record?
Somebody with experience please post. It has been answered earlier elsewhere, but I could not find it through search.

Kudos to Senator Chuck Schumer for raising the profile of a serious issue - discrimination against same-sex partners in US immigration law. Simmilar situation with my company- Company A merged with (B-India) and named as C .
We were informed all is well and taken care of with company's legal team.
Immediately after merger, I also got stamped in Chennai with old company name A in I 797 and enterd with I 94 at POE without any problem.
So it seems this may not be an issue. It isonly my opinion and personal experience.
Now a days many companys are following this route to cope up with new lottery H1 issues.

You are eligible for 3 years extension with the approved I140. I also applied my H1 extension by attaching approved 140 for 3 years extension, I got it last month...
it will not like 2 yrs and then 3 yrs.....go for 3 years...I think lawyer should know all these....

Looks like AGjOBS bill has good chance of passing. Does anyone know what the definition of agricultural worker is ?
Could one by considered agricultural worker if they are in landscaping business ? what about in agricultural sales.
We are about to see creation of huge black market for documents claiming someone is farmer if this rule is passed.

Hi All,
I need to travel urgently to India due to some family issue and my EAD is expiring in Aug 2010. I need to apply for my renewal before I fly out this Sunday since I will have to be in India for 30 days. Can I e file my application from here and send the supporting documentation by Saturday? If so, I want to make sure that if for some reason, I get a biometrics appt., while in India, how can I postpone it? and also there won't be any issues with my EAD renewal app since I will be India and My I 94 will change once I am back.

I think it should be OK!
-> i guess there is a provision to delay your FP if it arrives for any reason, any of your representative here can scan and let u see the contents , there will be a phone to call and postpone.

Today I had an Infopass Appointment at 10 am. The IO told me, my NC is pending that's why I did not get FP.He told me to wait till July (ie is one yr from the date of applying)then open SR.
Got the same exact nonsense at my infopass as well.
With the new 180 day NC rule, does it even matter?

If your boyfriend has degree+exp in engg, medicine, nursing, management, etc. he can get H1 from company that plans to hire him. Pl search for jobs on yahoo, dice, etc first. Not many companies would be ready to do H1 in present scenario.

You can convert GC process to Consular Processing. AFAIK, that is the most lgal way of working outside the country in your situation.

And there were two people last month here who had theirs brought down to EB3 from EB2 (inspite of having an I-140 notice that said EB2)! Got them more than a month to rectify that.
