h! look what i found! briar press is an online resource for letterpress printers and enthusiasts. besides having an interesting museum to tour, there are also 460 vintage ornaments and initials in postscript format that you can download. their growing collection is drawn from the pages of old specimen books. they scan each image, touch-up rough spots, and convert it into postscript line-art.
all of these should print crisply at any size. i absolutely love them!
