i visited a lovely shop in the quaint fishing village of steveston yesterday called serenity home decor. the japanese owner, fumi, was so sweet and has exquisite taste. it's the kind of store you would want to own yourself, filled with all your favorite things, from stationary to dinnerware and the odd piece of jewelry. she is carrying paperluxe, a local pulp culture company, with some nice cards and gift wrap. some jonathan adler pottery, remember that sgraffito line of his i posted about a few months back? and a toord boontje lamp that was even more beautiful in real life. i think i found a favorite new store.
