Tablescaping ... how to design a stunning table.

Tablescaping is something I recommend every bride to do when it comes to the decor of the reception. Don't simply whip up a centrepiece or go with one of the options provided by the venue. If your budget allows, be adventurous. Tablescaping is almost like creating the interior design for a room, or even more accurately and as the term suggests, landscaping your garden. You start with the flat surface and shape of the table, then layer on all the elements. The elements are as follows; linens (the ground work), place settings, central focal points and chair decoration (almost like fencing!). I'll be posting suggestions and tips for creating each element and providing complete tablescaping style files at the end of the series.
