You can't write 01/01/1995. In that case your check will be invalidated. Check expires after 180 days. :D :D

Sorry if you find it offensive, but I dont think its going to prove anything to the USCIS and I am not even sure they will notice it.
Why is no one talking about a public demonstartion in New York or something along those lines that is bound to get TV reporters attention and having a spokesperson who can speak on our behalf in front of a national audience and talk about the discrimintaion that US shows against legal workers
If Illegal Immigrants have the courage to pursue their agenda on the streets what is stopping us from doing it.
What are we afraid of? its not the lack of issues, its the lack of resolve
Lets see if thread swells to dewcent levels we can organize a protest against USCIS infront of NBC studios

They issued a bulletin in June 2007 (http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3258.html) declaring all classes of employment-based visa priority dates current from July 1, 2007 and then pulled the carpet under everyone's feet by issuing a bulletin in July 2007 (http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3263.html) which declared all July applications ineligible.
The June bulletin caused a frenzy of activity amongst the applicants which ranged from applicants cancelling their travel plans and rushing to file their petitions to applicants tying the nuptial knot and cancelling their plans of higher studies. This act is mockery and disrespect of such skilled workers, causing them huge emotional and mental trauma. It also represents a huge economic loss in terms of time and resources consumed for readiness in filing the applications that involved the individuals, their employers and the attorneys representing them.
As a mark of protest we would like to observe July 13, 2007 as "NO WORK DAY". We demand justice from America and the American Governement. We believe our voices will only be heard when our presence (and importance) is made conspicuous by our absence. So, all those who believe in this are urged to refrain from going to work on Friday July 13, 2007.

Friends, that's what I was thinking for the past few days, i.e., why are'nt my unknown friends form the IV not speculating the outcome of the Feb VB 08. Gosh, I don't pass a day, without agony and stress, not thinking about this GC process, and where it will lead me to, and how many, many years it will take to get the card. I am sure that all of you worry about the same. And, those in charge care the least...just emerging out of a nice Christmas break with all the duck meat, crab chowder soup, etc.
But, about the prediction as many of you are doing... don't forget the "Unavailable" part for the rest of FY 08. My take is that EB2 will either retrogress, or remain constant, or become unavailable.

It is not mandatory to join GC sponsor company while it is under process but it is mandatory to join after approval. Better to consult an attorney.

The idea here is to for the individual to hold the miles ( atleast the minimum required) to get a free ticket and the individual book the ticket for some one who would use it. Transferring of miles from one account to another has a lot of overhead attached to it and is not cost effective.
I have complied a list of people who pledged and will contact them when we will need the miles for travel/ticketing.

Given the current state of affairs, its only to be expected because people like you and me are actually displacing some jobs whether we admit it or not.
If we were not present there would not be jobs for the current american colleagues of ours.
If Andy Grove was not allowed to immigrate, there would be no Intel in the USA.
If Sergey Brin was not allowed to immigrate, there would be no Google in the USA.
If Charles Simonyi and others was not allowed to immigrate, there would be no Xerox Star, no Mac and no Windows in the USA.
If .. <Add other names here>> there would be no Silicon Valley.
I and other outsiders have created countless jobs and maintained America's technological superiority.
... So I respectfully disagree with your statement about us displacing jobs :)

If the visa is already expired, you better wait to get the travel documents (AP) so you don't need to go for stamping.
If you use AP to go and return without stamping new H1, can you continue working with H1 or you've to use EAD? And if you use EAD, can you be with current employer?? This is confusing!! :confused:

What if a person creates a company (a c-corp) say to run a restaurant and works in it. I know a foreign national can own a corporation in the U.S.; but are there any estrictions on working in your own business?
