This week’s download is a real tag we scanned in (to give it that realistic look), duplicated and then numbered using Modern No. 20 font (a favorite of ours). We hope you’ll enjoy them, as much as we are, as we tag everything in sight. Like coffee tins, water vessels, gifts and such. Click here to see. Print on heavier card stock paper, cut and then use a string to tie and attach.

Last week we posted about Pilllpat’s scanned ephemera and vintage french paper crafts. While sifting through them we came across a sweet little desk calendar.

We used their template as a starting point and built our own. All you need is some paper, tape , scissors and a printer. It’s kind of fun and super easy to make! Click here to get the pdf.

lisa sent me a link to this free vector art from youworkforthem.com. for those that aren't aware, vectors are "paths" that are used to make sharp, crisp lines that are fully editable. unlike bitmap, they can be scaled as large or small as you need them without losing any details in digital graphic design. download here.

new e-mail button

a new e-mail button for those of you that wish to decorate your blog. i just made it and it's free for the taking. just save the image to your desktop and upload to flickr or something like that and paste it into your sidebar. when linking the button to your email, just use the "img src" part of the code plus your email code as follows: (this is a sample only - do not use this code).

stencil a shade tutorial

this is such a great idea to brighten up a plain shade. stenciling. here's a how-to i found in sunset. using a paper product called stencil board (or heavy card stock) you can create a stencil from almost anything. or you can download this one here. click on the image to enlarge and read full instructions. also check out their new blog, home by sunset. the industrious jessica from how about orange has come up with a in-case-of-birthday-emergency-download on her blog.

it's a printable card and envelope she designed with vines. she left a lot of white space so it won't use up an entire ink cartridge (like alot of those downloadble ones do).
