Orchids are in season in Australia all year round except for Cymibidiums which are in season from June to September. Singapore orchids are great for their vibrant rich hues, whilst Phalaenopsis and Cymbidiums are popular for their gorgeous shapes. All orchids have the ability to withstand the heat in Queensland, lasting quite some time before they start to wilt. A simple orchid is also a favourite for buttonholes because they sit quite flat and look striking.
