Colour Scheme I - Platinum, Pearl and White.

This lovely colour scheme is from The Knot, courtesy of Evantine Design in the US. When using such a light colour scheme it's very important to use a lot of texture to lift it all. I just adore the vases used in this table centrepiece arrangement.

The containers are covered with knits and sweater materials. You could easily make these yourself by adapting our DIY project "Silk and Ribbon Vases" using the knit materials instead of silk and ribbon. I'd even attack old sweaters from last season and cut them up!

I love a simple elegant cake like this one! Especially the hand painted ribbon and piped braid.

The green of flowers and foliage will be the only real contrast colour in this very monochromatic scheme so use lots of glass as well to put it on display. This arrangement of glass bottles stands in front of a curtain of mother of pearl discs.
