Artists of PHM: Leah Giberson

We are truly loving the new work by Boston-based mixed media artist, Leah Giberson. Her Calumet Series features mid-century homes using pictures found on flickr she received permission to use. They are archival prints of an original painting which was painted with acrylic on top of a cut up printed photograph and canvas mounted to a wooden panel. Many of the prints are limited editions of 100. Leah also is well known for her pool series, and more recently her series of caravans and chairs. Leah has a busy summer with three show openings: Enormous Tiny Art Show L.A.; Making It Home at Michele Mercaldo's Gallery M in Boston's South End (June 9th - August 30, 2009). View work from the show here and a solo show at Nahcotta in Portsmouth, NH.
