Beautiful Buttonieres

.

There used to be a trend for very simple rose buttonholes, which was understated and streamlined. But buttonholes haven't escaped the current trend for a more natural look in wedding flowers. Buttoniere are getting fuller with more foliage and one or two main flowers with sprigs of berries or unusual elements such as seashells.

Add ribbon for more interest and coordinate the look by tying matching ribbons onto the bridesmaids bouquets. I really love this nautical theme.

.
For something even more unique try a themed buttonhole like this one from Fritts Rosenow.
