Handmade Nation Screening at MOV - Friday, March 19

Handmade Nation at MOV Vancouver

Handmade Nation documents the new wave of art, craft and design that is sweeping North America. It is the feature film debut of director, author, artist and curator Faythe Levine. Levine traveled to 15 US cities and covered more than 19,000 miles to interview artists, crafters, makers, curators and community members.

The evening will include a discussion by local crafters, a mini Got Craft market and a reception in the MOV Studio following the screening. Tickets include admission to the exhibit. Tickets will be sold online until 5pm, Thursday, March 18. Remaining tickets will be available for purchase at Visitor Services on the 19th. No Refunds. No Latecomers Permitted.

Fight! and Fault Lines at Rare Device - Friday, March 19

Rare Device in SF is having two shows opening Friday, March 19. Show up from 7-9PM for Fight! and Fault Lines, featuring work from Amy Tavern, Molly M, Uniform Natural, Yorktown Road, and Andrea Heimer.
