Ring Pillows

"with this ring i thee wed..."

Ring Pillows are an often overlooked yet vital part of any wedding ceremony. Forget the tacky satin pillow and try one of these unique and inspiring ideas.

Inspired Idea No.1

As seen in the photo above, a modern take on a traditional ring pillow, could create a real showstopper. Use a basic piece of foam, some moss and tiny flowers, tied with a bit of ribbon for a simple DIY project or simply ask your florist to make one up. A great touch for a country or outdoor wedding.

Inspired Idea No.2

Cute little crochet or knitted pillows make a fab alternative. Set Grandma to working on one and not only will she feel involved but everyone will be telling her how great her work looked on the day. Wouldn't that put a smile on her face? A nice touch for a retro or vintage themed wedding.

Inspired Idea No.3
For a beach wedding you can't go past using shells or fans for a very individual way to present the rings. Use either in a large clam shell or sea snail shells (without the snail!) with or with out other embellishments. Or try tying them to a palm leaf fan with some ribbon and a flower.

Inspired Idea No.4

A classic and modern idea for an elegant wedding; tins or ceramic dishes with engraved quotes or paper tags with memorable words from the ceremony like the ones seen in the example below which read "to have and to hold".
