Bits + Bobs looks like a fun exhibit happening at Renegade Handmade this weekend under their Spotlight Series they've been featuring as of late. Sam Cotterill of Mummysam is showing a collection of wall art pieces and soft sculpture scenes using natural fibres like linen, wool and felt to create a tiny world inspired by her British upbringing. Mummysam combines embroidery, applique and encaustic techniques to create the pieces in this show which runs through to March 28th, 2010. Opening reception tonight, Friday, February 19th from 6- 8 pm.
