Minimalist Vintage in Sage Green and Slate Grey

.

A clean-lined basic design using modern pieces like square shaped dinnerware mixed with classical ornate vintage touches creates a look which is so stunning. It's simple and clean but with added beauty of old fashioned touches. In a grey and sage colour palette with a background of pure white it's one of my favourite looks for weddings this winter. Grey has never been a very popular colour for weddings but a blue toned grey used as an accent against the white and paired with a subdued green just pops and it looks sophisticated and stylish.

Bridal Party Couture

Subtle ruffles on streamlined dresses otherwise free from adornment would be ideal for this look. A bouquet of a mix of pure white flowers and foliages is great for garden themed weddings and sets off a more modern dress nicely. For understated shoes simply add a bow to some satin peep toes.

Wedding Styling and Decor

An ornate chandelier over a square table set with a modern setting of square dishes and plain dark linens in a garden is perfect for this look.

The Catering

Try making a dessert bar using all your favourites against a white background with some slate grey linens with ribbon napkin rings.
