This cute little note card design was made by Christy of The Petite Press especially for this month's Poppytalk Handmade Oil Spill Fundraiser market. It features a school of silvery fish (and a little turquoise one) that go 'round and 'round on a beautiful turquoise background. The cards are blank inside, so they can be used for any occasion you wish. Here's how to make the fish swim in a circle (at whatever speed you desire :) as demonstrated by Christy's daughter:
Christy was inspired by these shimmering, swirling fish that she saw in the Scott Aquarium at the Henry Doorly Zoo during their family trip to Omaha, Nebraska last fall:
This is a limited edition print run of 80, and each card is numbered and initialed. They were printed on her antique hand-powered letterpress.
